On Friday mornings the children in Class Two put on their wellies and coats and head outdoors. The children explore nature in fun and active ways. Recently they took a friend through the schools woods on a “Walk of Trust”. Children led a friend (who had their eyes closed) on an imaginary journey, up, over, around trees and logs. We love being outdoors!
We worked in groups to build a little shelter, big enough for a teddy bear!
We collected leaves to make a frame for our picture.
Having a relay race to see how quickly each team could fill up milk bottles and yoghurt pots with water. It was fun to get a little wet!
On A Cold and Frosty Morning
Our Walk of Trust
We closed our eyes and trusted our friends to keep us safe whilst they took us on an imaginary journey through the woods.
