Dear Parent,

We need you! Please consider volunteering to help out at events at school this year by joining the Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) – which is the main fundraising body for the School.  Let us know if you can help by contacting our secretary Amy Peltor at amypeltor@live.co.uk, or come along to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and find out more.

The Chair and Secretary roles have people who are willing to volunteer for this year so there is no pressure (unless anyone else would like to stand – in which case please do put your name forward) but we are always delighted to welcome new members with new ideas.

The AGM will be on:  Mon 26 Sept 16 at 6pm at school.

We raised thousands of pounds last year for computer equipment for the children – at events which you probably supported (thank you for your generosity).  Many of you are attending the events anyway – could you consider selling some raffle tickets or running a stand?  If so please let us know – even if you don’t want to join in the committee we are always grateful for any help you can give.

The PTA meets a couple of times each term to plan that term’s fundraising event.  It is also a way to discuss any general concerns parents have with the school so if there is something you want to raise, do come along and we can include it in the agenda.
