Online Safety

Our children have an ever increasing access to the outside world through the use of connected devices. They use them almost daily to learn, play and develop a range of skills. However, keeping children safe while online needs to be a high priority for us all.

In school we have regular digital citizenship lessons which cover a range of strategies children can use to help keep themselves safe and they are taught to always report things that make them feel worried, unhappy or unsafe to their class teacher of any other trusted adult.

For parents, there are also lots of helpful resources to support you to keep your children safe while they make use of digital devices at home. Below are some links to sites that have tips on internet safety.
