Admissions

To apply for a school place you must apply through Powys central admissions.

Langors is a popular school which has maintained an enrolment of over 140+ pupils. Should you wish to visit the school to see our excellent facilities, please do not hesitate to contact us or pop in to make an appointment.

When you contact us to enrol your child you will be invited to visit the school to speak with the Headteacher and class teacher and will be shown around the school. You will receive an up-to-date copy of this school brochure and other admission materials. You will be required to apply to the LEA (Powys) for a place at the school using the link above.

In line with Powys admissions pupils enter the Reception class the September following their 4th birthday.

Applying for a Pre-School Place

There is nursery provision for 3 and 4 year olds at the school at Mes Bach. Pupils may start at Mes Bach the term after their third birthday. For more information, visit our pre-school page.

Applying for an In-Year Admission

Parents and pupils considering an in-year admission are invited to visit the school to meet the Headteacher and staff and to discuss the reason for the move. A brochure and admission materials will be provided. We always try to contact the Headteacher or class teacher of the school from which your child is transferring.
