Criw Cymraeg
Criw Cymraeg are a group of pupils from Year Two – Year Six, who are responsible for encouraging and promoting the use of Welsh throughout the school and help to raise awareness of both the culture and history of Wales. They plan and lead our weekly Gwasanaeth Cymraeg reading stories, leading the singing of Welsh songs and awarding certificates to Seren/Siaradwr Y Wythnos.
During their fortnightly meetings, they come up with ideas to help promote the country and its rich language . They decide which Siarter Iaith targets they are going to work on each term and discuss how to celebrate any special days/events that may be coming up in our Welsh calendar. Work is currently underway towards achieving the Silver Award for Siarter Iaith.
